The official examiner for the Wye with Hinxhill Neighbourhood Plan has sent a letter confirming a public hearing about the Neighbourhood Plan on December 8th at 10 am at St Ambrose Catholic Church, St Ambrose Green in Wye.

He intends to address three issues:

  • the procedures for the preparation of the screening assessment for the Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) and the SEA itself;
  • The definition of the village envelope and the concept of the ‘walkable village’ with a particular focus on: the justification for the 5 minute or 400 m threshold and the implications for the former Imperial College campus (site WYE3)
  • proposed amendments to Figure 5.1 (WYE3 site boundary).
