Paintjam is one of a number of organisations which offer art workshops to local communities – but the organisation is innovative in trying to inspire non-artists to paint and draw. As well as running painting workshops for corporate clients, it also runs Paintjam hen parties, tea parties and After Dinner art – when, on finishing their meal, diners are provided with a canvas and paint.

Could Wye have a community art exhibition to show work that has been created by adults and children in the community during the year? Could this be run at the same time as the Food Festival? And could the community organise/fund Paintjam-type sessions in order to create the necessary body of work?
